Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar browser-storage technologies that Synthoramotion uses, what each one is for, and how long it lasts. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal information more broadly.

“Cookies and similar technologies” here means small pieces of data stored by your browser at our request — cookies themselves, and the browser’s local storage. Both are described below.

Synthoramotion sets one cookie, and only after you sign in. It stores up to three preference values in your browser, and only when you actively change the setting each one records.

It sets nothing at all for a visitor who browses the public site without signing in and without changing a preference — no cookies, no local storage, and no requests to any third-party service.

There is no advertising, no analytics, no tag manager and no session replay, so there is nothing optional to consent to and no consent banner is shown.

Signing in requires a cookie. Without it there is no way to know that a request belongs to your account, and the Service cannot show you your own credits, generations or history. This cookie is set only after you sign in, and it is removed when you sign out.

It is issued by Supabase, the authentication and database platform Synthoramotion is built on, and it is a first-party cookie set on the Synthoramotion domain — it is not shared with an advertising network and is not used to track you across other websites.

These are stored in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie, which means they are never sent to our servers — they exist only on the device you set them on, and they are not tied to your account or synchronised between your devices.

Each is written only at the moment you make the choice it records. If you never change a theme, never collapse the sidebar and never dismiss the install prompt, none of them exist.

The following are absent from the Service. This is a statement about the current build, checked against the application’s own dependencies and code rather than assumed:

• no analytics or product-measurement service;
• no advertising pixel, conversion tag or remarketing tag;
• no tag manager;
• no session-replay or heatmap recording;
• no cross-site tracking cookie;
• no social-media embed that sets cookies of its own; and
• no third-party service that receives your browsing on the public site.

Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third-party font service, so browsing Synthoramotion does not disclose your visit to one.

Consent is generally required for storage that is not necessary to deliver a service the user has asked for. Everything described above is either necessary for you to be signed in, or a preference you set yourself by using a control.

Because there is nothing optional to accept or reject, a consent banner here would offer a choice that does not exist. We would rather show none than show one that does nothing.

If optional analytics, advertising or similar technologies are introduced in future, an appropriate notice and consent mechanism will be implemented before those technologies are activated, and this policy will be updated first.

You can clear or block cookies and local storage at any time from your browser’s settings, usually under a heading such as privacy, site data, or site settings.

Clearing the authentication cookie signs you out; you can sign back in as normal. Clearing the preference values simply returns those settings to their defaults. Nothing you have created is stored in your browser, so clearing site data does not affect your credits, your generations or your history — those live on your account.

Blocking cookies entirely will prevent you from signing in, because the Service cannot maintain a session without the cookie described above.

If the storage the Service uses changes, this policy will be updated and the effective date above will be revised. Where a change introduces optional technologies, the notice and consent requirements described above apply.
